Retail carpet with old T-shirts: materials
- Separate 8 old t-shirts
- 1 simple bathroom mat with smooth surface
- hot glue
- Scissors
Retail carpet with old t-shirts: step by step
- With the help of scissors, start cutting with the T-shirt into strips of approximately 5 cm;
- Then cut each strip into 10 to 12 cm pieces. Here, each strip was cut into three pieces, however this measurement may vary depending on the size of the shirt used;
- Make a little nozzle in the center of each piece and repeat the process on the other cut strips;
- Pass the hot glue on one end of the bathroom mat to form the first row;
- Place the nozzle of each piece of fabric over the hot glue. Repeat the process until the first row is formed;
- Finally, proceed to the second, third, fourth row … until the bathroom mat is completely filled.
