Good morning, sir,
the sky is gray, the mood is gloomy. Maybe you’ve gotten into the sales race to forget that the sun has gone out of France to do the sales!
So I offer you a pretty colorful DIY that will bring the sun back into your heart.
Painting nature
When I go on holiday to the mother’s side, I always bring back small stones, pretty round pebbles that nature has shaped.
If I go for a walk in the forest, I bring back small pieces of wood or pretty leaves.
Children do this naturally. My daughter always has little treasures in her pockets. I have to fight against her when she picks up a lot of junk on the street (in the city you can find anything and everything on the ground)… and yet she is not 2 years old anymore but soon she will be 6.
So today I suggest that you put paint on the pebbles you brought back from your holidays, on the branches that you have kept in a jar and that you no longer really know why they are at home.
Just take some paint and or Posca style markers and decorate your little treasures.
What’s next? What do I do with the decorated pebbles?
Then you can put these homemade decorations in a jar. You can also take a frame and glue your different elements together as in the example. Just take a glue gun and fix all the pieces with hot glue on a nice thick sheet of paper in the colour of your choice.
It’s up to you to find the right colors to match. Choosing gold, shimmering colours, brings pep to your interior.
How about you?
If you pick up small pebbles on your travels, what do you do with them on the way back?
Are you taking other elements of nature home with you?
